Lets Put Some Light on the Subject!

closet organizer lightingSo you have closet organizers, now can you see everything you’ve organized? Nothing makes a closet easier to navigate than a little bit of extra lighting. You know what I’m talking about. It’s early evening and there just isn’t enough light to make out what you want to wear so you turn on the bedroom light. The only problem is this doesn’t help you see the contents of your closet at all. You’re still left sifting through shirt after shirt and taking out sweater after sweater looking for that great combination that you’re going to wear out tonight. Despite how much you spend on a closet organizer, you’re not doing yourself any favors unless you can see what you’re doing.

What you need is some illumination. Closet Lighting makes all of your closet organizer tasks that much easier. There are a couple of ways to go about this that are simpler than you might think. First of all, there are motion sensitive lights which are similar to the motion detector lights you’ve probably seen outside  only they are much amaller and will screw into an ordinary socket. The light will turn on when you reach or walk into your closet. Once you’re done with your closet simply close the doors and after a time delay, the lights will turn off. Another option is to try a battery-operated light which can be mounted inside of your closet. With these, they use a switch based technology very similar to your refrigerator light. You open the door: light turns on. You close the door: lights turn off. Thirdly, one-touch lights are getting more and more popular. Usually these are marketed for emergencies but why wait for something bad to happen? Install one of these easy lights in your closet and you’ll see the difference a little light makes in no time!

Lighting is a high selling feature as well. If you want to sell your home, great and ample lighting is a huge plus. Not to mention, you’ll find a lot of use out of your new bright closet each and every day you’re looking for something once the sun has gone down.
